Under the Food Labelling Regulations 1996, it was a requirement to put the variety of potatoes on the packaging.

I know that most of this regulation was revoked under the Food Information Regulations 2014, and can't see any mention of the requirement, but was wondering if it is still a requirement?

I find nutritional labelling requirements confusing and unhelpful for producers and customers alike. Fine for processed foods but real food, really?

My phone call from our local trading standards this morning did not really clear up my confusion and it seemed that she was more confused about it than I was.
